Lazy, lazy, lazy.

I think I might have had the most unproductive day of my life today, but for some reason, I'm okay with it! I have worked so hard for the past 10 months of school, that having a day where I don't have to worry about studying or doing anything is very rewarding! Speaking of school, our grades came in today, and I did a little better than I thought (thank God)! Well, I'm going to get back to doing absolutely nothing. Till next time!

I almost forgot....

I keep posting about my "week", so I'll give you a little taste of how relaxing it was. I spent my Spring Break in Venice, Florida. It was a much needed vacation to get away from schoolwork, and just spend time with family. I'm hoping for many more of these in the future! There are more pictures to come, but for now, talk to you later!

First real post!

I am sitting at my favorite spot in the entire world- my kitchen table. It's so peaceful to look through the huge french window out to my inviting backyard. Everything's so green! It's weird that I'm all of a sudden back at my house, back to normal life, after living at school for two semesters. I remember thinking last summer how weird it was going to be leaving home and getting accustomed to new life at school, but now its just weird being back home!
College is most definitely a transition, in almost every way possible. You have to become accustomed to new living quarters, to living with someone you don't even know, to the different type of school work (in my case, much harder), to being away from home, and to learning how to stay true to who you are. The latter of this list is, to me, the most important, and could be the most difficult. So my tip for any incoming freshman is this: make sure you have expectations for yourself before entering college. Also, have an open mind! Sometimes, you just have to learn from mistakes, but I assure you, you'll find your niche. : ) Time to go get my workout on, haha! I'll post again soon!

Still getting accustomed..

I'm pretty new to this whole blogging thing, so bear with me!

Obviously, I didn't post anything about my "week", which was spent in Venice, Florida. I am still trying to figure out how to post pictures and whatnot, so stay tuned! More to come :)
